You know. You’d turn on the radio and instantly know the song, artist, album, and where it was on the charts. You knew every movie playing at the cineplex, and had already seen half of them. You knew which night your favorite TV shows were on, and the names (both character and actor) of everyone in them.

You knew what was in style, or at least what was affordable enough not to get laughed at. You had your go-to stores to find the stuff that fit best, and knew where the best deals were.

You knew which hangouts had just the right vibe — which played the best music, made the best drinks, had the best area in the back where you could actually have conversations.

Those days are long gone, am I right?
